Firstly, please rest assured, a chemical peel facial does not hurt! There may be a a sensation

of mild tingling and warmth, but there is no pain! The word 'chemical' seem harsh, but these  

ingredients are in many skincare products, you may just not be aware of them.

With our professional knowledgeable, we determine the best options of peel strengths and suitability. A pre appointment consultation form will be sent to you upon booking and enjoy an

in-person consultation on the day of your appointment to ensure you receive the most effective treatment for your beautiful skin.

The treatment begins by relaxing onto the heated beauty bed. Once comfortable, the facial beings with a deep double cleanse and a natural enzymatic peel gel is massaged into the skin. This multi-active exfoliant peel visibly removes impurities and prepares the newly refreshed skin layers for the treatment. A medical grade skin antiseptic then removes the final oils and grease and sensitive areas will be protected.

Your prescribed CLINICCARE peel solution is then expertly mixed and applied to you skin. The process is continuously monitored and safely neutralised when results achieved. To finish, a broad spectrum CLINICCARE Dermo Corrective SPF50 which has healing and repairing properties is applied and will provide optimal protection against the sun.

Experience the rejuvenating benefits of a chemical peel without fear or concern. Performed by Emma, a highly qualified skin professional, this treatment ensures minimal downtime, allowing you to refresh your skin and embrace glowing complexion with confidence. A course of 3 - 6 Peels is recommended for optimal results.​

Reactions from treatment may include skin redness/ flushing, and tightness. This can be soothed and further enhanced with the added CLINICCARE Booster Peel and Active Mask Treatment. Any redness will usually typically resolve within hours and many people are able to return to their normal activities the same or next day. Some people may react differently and may experience these reactions for longer. Refrain from saunas, steam baths, hot showers, high impact aerobic exercise/vigorous physical activity for 24hours and avoid intensive sun exposure, sun beds/ extreme weather conditions for a minimum of 2 weeks.

Use of a gentle cleanser and an intensive moisturiser is advised for at least a week as skin may feel drier or tighter after treatment. Mineral make-up can be applied once skin has settled, this is typically around 24 hours. Mild peeling may occur on day 3-5 after the peel. This is completely normal and sometimes presents as small, flaky patches.

Professional After Care kits are available to purchase in Southwick Beauty Studio for £25. The kits include an ultra soothing Cleanser, Ultra Soothing Toner, Ultra soothing Moisture Cream and a Refining Eye Gel.  Please allow at least 7 days before the use of any homecare products containing Retinol or AHA's/ BHA exfoliants.
